When, Shannon, the manager came to the table (With an unknown man at her side. As she said this she brazenly rolled her eyes. She said “Here is a serving spoon if you want to share”. At this point I asked to speak to a manager.īefore we spoke to the manager Loralei brought my husband’s rice out. I know one of those tables was sat after ours. I observed three orders of fried rice go out before my husband received his. I let the server know there was an issue and he said he would look into it. At this time we still had not received our appetizer and my husband was still waiting for fried rice. Our server then saw the soup in the window and brought it over. I did not assume it was ours until I observed Loralei run other dishes that came out afterward. I tried to not think anything of it, but then a few other incidents made me think it was intentional. At that point I thought she may have had an issue with me because I had made a complaint about her. She corrected herself, but slammed the bowl of pho down. I said it was mine and she set it front of my friend. Consequently, someone always ends up waiting for their food. At Journey’s the food comes out as it is made. We placed our food and drink order with the server and everything seemed fine. This evening was about a month after the first incident. As our previous experiences had always been positive we felt the matter was resolved. ![]() We were assured she would receive more training and that she was a good worker that was simply trying too hard to be quick. She did admit to setting dishes down roughly. We spoke to the manager, Shannon, she apologized and said she would speak to Loralei. Hard enough that I was afraid the momentum would take it off of the table. When she finally did bring the dish we were waiting for she slammed it down on the table. She kept trying to bring dishes to our table that we did not order. On my previous visit the expeditor, Loralei, was in a rush. ![]() However, after negative experiences on my last two visits I don’t plan on coming back. Several of the servers are familiar with my order and have always provided excellent service. Before COVID I dined here at least once a week. ![]() I have been dining at this restaurant since it opened. Not sure if she was new or rude to care about the customer. She need not look the magnet for me but at least could have told to me check in that tray. I asked if I can check that, and she said yes and I was able to find the magnet I was looking for. My husband noticed two trays full of magnets on the counter. The person in billing said the ones on the board are all they have. I liked one particular and asked the person in charge if they have 2. The staff at the ice cream stand was friendly. It was more white chocolate I could hardly taste lavender. We got lavender white chocolate ice cream. My kids enjoyed the face painting station. The farm was beautiful but wish they mentioned the right time to visit the farm on the website (with a beautiful sight of bloomed lavender) I read about the lavender festival on their website and was expecting a lavender bloomed garden but very few rows bloomed. We visited the lavender farm on July 17th.
